Rift Magazine review by Rebecca Marx

Excellent review by Rebecca Marx of Rift Magazine:

If you are looking for an album that satisfies the need for a strong artistic voice then look no further, Annie and the Bang Bang’s Save Yourself delivers. A vibrantly alive follow up to their 2013 self titled debut, Save Yourself will keep you riveted until the closing chords of the sweeping title track fade awayAn ominous snapshot into what breaking up, and moving on can look like. A voyeur’s dream.

Shondes Rock Minneapolis

Annie and the Bang Bang had the pleasure of playing a show with The Shondes, who are getting a lot of great press as they tour across the country behind their new album THE GARDEN. They got a great writeup in Vita.mn and Rolling Stone http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/the-garden-20130923. Hailing from Brooklyn, they served up a great show at the Cause Sound Bar on Lake and Lyndale, and we were happy to open for them! Mannequins on Welfare put on their brand of scathing psychedelic basement rock, rounding out an awesome triple bill.
